PAYMENT

On confirmation of your booking request a deposit of £100.00 per person will be due. This can be paid either by cheque, bank transfer or credit card.(There willl be a 2% surcharge if payment is made by credit card). The final balance will be due 6 weeks prior to your arrival. If you are booking within 6 weeks of arrival full payment is required immediately. No contract shall exist between Alp shack and yourself until the deposit payment is received.

CANCELLATION

If full payment for your holiday has not been received 6 weeks before your arrival, your holiday will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded. You will be informed in writing in this case.

If you wish to cancel your holiday with Alp shack, this must be received in writing and we advise that you let us know as soon as possible. The following cancellation charges will be levied:

Up to 6 weeks before arrival - your deposit
4 to 6 weeks before arrival - 50% of holiday cost
Under 4 weeks before arrival - 100% of holiday cost

In the unlikely event that Alp shack are unable to provide your holiday you will be informed as soon as possible and given a full refund.

TRANSFER AND CHECK IN

You will need to inform us of your flight details 6 weeks before arrival. So we can arrange collection if required. Please also note that the transfer time is subject to weather conditions and volume of traffic. With regard to check in, your room will be available after 3pm on the Saturday of your arrival, and we require the room to be vacated by 11am on the Saturday of your departure. In the event of early arrival arrangements can be made to store your luggage.

INSURANCE

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct level of cover for your holiday and any snowsports that you wish to engage in. We also advise that your insurance policy covers any loss or theft of personal belongings.

PERSONAL POSSESSIONS

Whilst all due care and attention will be taken, Alp shack will not be held responsible for the loss or theft of any personal possessions from either the ski bus or the chalet. We advise you to leave any expensive personal items at home.

BEHAVIOUR

All customers are expected to behave in an appropriate manner whilst staying in the Alp shack chalet. If any behaviour threatens the enjoyment of any other guest, or damage to the chalet Alp shack reserve the right to terminate the offender's accommodation. In addition the offender will be responsible for the cost of any damage caused.

SMOKING

Please be aware that the Alp shack chalet operates a no smoking policy.

WEBSITE

All of the information available on the Alp shack website is correct to the best of our knowledge. All links to services and companies are given in good faith. Please be aware that Alp shack cannot be held responsible for any of the goods or services provided by these companies.

COMPLAINTS

Please direct any complaints to your chalet host in the first instance, who will use their best endeavours to resolve any issue immediately. In the unlikely event that your chalet host is unable to resolve the complaint please ensure that it is put in writing within 14 days of the end of your holiday to our head office: Customer Service, Alp shack, Fitzgerald House, 21 The Polygon, Southampton SO15 2BP.
